Removing Listing

Hi

I've notified all my Guests that we are closing our Guesthouse, but as I can't remove their booking from my side and have asked them to, but they didn't, I now have to pay commission on a booking that never happened.  So I guess I have 2 questions:

1.  What do I do with this bill from Bookings.com that was issued... commission on a client's fee that never came because we notified them months in advance that we were closing the Guesthouse.  All communication between us and our guests was captured on the Bookings.com website.

2. How do I remove my listing from Bookings.com?

Thank you so much in advance for anyone that can answer my two questions.

You should have closed the availabilty before the guests were able to book your place.  You are responsible for confirmed bookings, if you are not able to accomodate them due to an overbooking or any other reason, you will still have to pay the comission for those bookings. It's in the contract when you signed to Booking.com.  If you are going to host on Booking.com in future, I suggest you to pay the invoice. Because once you are flagged/blocked it's not that easy to go back.  Try to contact your account manager if he can assist you or give you some advice.  To remove the listing you will have to contact Booking.com support / account manager.

Thank you so much for replying to my post, really appreciate it.  How do I know who is my account manager and how can I get hold of him/her?

Extranet -> Inbox -> Booking.com messages -> on the right you'll see contact details.
