Reservation ***

Dear, we received this booking yesterday.  Unfortunately we can not receive the guest due to lastminute overbooking.  I already informed the guest and this was no problem.  However I can not cancel the booking in the reservation platform.  Can you please check this and cancel this, to avoid annulation and reservation costs.  thank you Barbara - Jachthuis au bois du gheer.

In general do not post cancellation requests here, as nothing will come of it. No one will see it. No action will be taken

 

As you already contacted guest , the preferred method, you just instruct them to logon to their account , click the reservation and trigger the cancellation request.

 

This overs your ass later so that they cannot say they do not agree or did not request it.

 

When they do so they can trigger request to waive fees, you receive a notification to accept or deny.

 

Then the system will process and mark cancelled; If they also had prepaid BdC on your behalf at time of booking, it will be processed and paid out within 10 working days.

 

 


If needed, Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.

 

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport ***

 

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

When it is last minute or 48 hours to arrive, the Guest can contact Customer Services and request cancellation.

This is the one I would recommend.

 


 

Worst Case you need to phone partner support with the reference and have them update it.
