System won't let me cancel a booking

I must cancel a booking since the guest has not made any payments or tried to make contact with us.

However Booking.com won't let me cancel online, the guest has to cancel.

In the meantime I am missing out on other potential bookings


View the credit card details, you especially need the last four digits of the card number.

Then report card as invalid, 24 hours later you can cancel the booking if the booker does not update the card details.


Hi Golfsafarisa, I have had to cancel a booking before as the guest booked for one night and we take bookings for no less than three nights. I contacted Booking.com and requested that they cancel the booking and I also contacted the guest and asked them to either cancel or book for additional nights. Booking.com cancelled the booking. Try contaating Booking.com via their message platform with your issue. Anthea
