VAT number - unable to answer NO

Booking.com has asked me to provide my VAT number - I am not registered for VAT, but the tick box option does not allow me to answer NO to the 'Do you have a VAT number' question

I have the same problem Michael, got such an email also yesterday. And I'm trying to reach Booking about it. But wait now on the phone for 20 minutes already... and sending a message in the Extranet is not helpful too, as they send you weeks later an answer that doesn't answer the question at all... as I asked why they asked suddenly without any annoucement 17% commission instead of previous 15%. I asked that end of June. Got an not helpful standard answer back end July. And sended the same message again begin August and still got no answer... So I think it's a big problem to get any answer on the VAT number question too... I hope someone can give us an reasonable answer, as many of the hosts will have the same problem I suppose...

Final result of my try to phone them: after 30 or 40 minutes they just shut down my phone call...

No just checked it, I tried for 1 hour doing some other things and then they kicked me off... Very sad service...

They are Impossible to contact, I have same problem ,I'm not vat registered either

I would like to inform Booking France that under 85000 € revenues there is VAT exemption.

how to stop their mails ?

I have received the same email.

I am not registered for vat as I am told by my tax/accountant that all they should need is

my NIE number (I am resident in Spain). I went to Vat other information (Finance tab) and a form comes up where you have to add various information about yourself and you property, information for all owners. I completed the information but they say my property catastral number is invalid. i know it is correct but I think I know what the problem is but cannot find anywhere to contact them to try to solve it. Their customer service is appalling. Until I can talk to them it will remain static.
