Virtual Cards

I have just started accepting virtual cards for payments, but I am struggling with getting the payments through as my POS terminal needs a valid postcode for the card to authorise payment. does anyone know if booking.com have a standard postcode for virtual cards?

Hi Michael,

 

Sounds like you will need to ask you POS provider how to handle OTA issued VCCs, or switch provider. They usually expect you to tell them you want to use VCC and have a merchant code properly confirgured on your account in order for the logdging type to be allowed.

 

I have yet to see any mention of such a thing on any of the official guides.

 

No harm popping a message to Partner Support also and get them to clarify, then post how you got on and what they said, thanks

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
