Virtual cards payments

How do I know if will charge the customers virtual card payment or should the property charge the customers virtual card payment?

so the simple answer is , if you have yet to setup any payment method provided by BdC, then its defaulting to on arrival.


But if you are setup for BdC Online Payments, where the Guest pays at time of booking, to BdC, then BdC issue a VCC to the reservation, usually appears on the details page but CVC hidden until day 2 of stay.



Some prefer to sign up for a 3rd party payment gateway service (with virtual terminal) to charge cards. e.g. payrexx., sumup; square, izettle etc.


I would message or phone Partner Support to confirm what you have enabled, as we  (partners) cannot  see it here.





If needed, Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.


Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport ***


  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘ messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
