Weekly discount applied to 3 night break....

Newbie, with 4 completed bookings so far.

I've just received a booking for a 3 night stay in September which has discounted quite heavily. On the price breakdown it is showing a total of 35% discount (should only be 20%, from two discounts combined) - on checking it is showing my weekly discount of 15% has been included.

Anyone give me pointers of how to resolve? I've checked the weekly discount and it is for a minimum of 7 nights and it's not applied to any other reservations.

Hi Mark,

 

Are you actually using the Weekly Rate Plan and not daily with 7 nights set?

 

When you setup any rate plan, you can open the calendar in list view , expand the room type, expand the rate plan to see the Minimum length of Stay, to review if the value is correct.

 

Make sure that the standard rate plan rate and number of nights does not value cheaper if multiples combined.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Hello Mark,

I've attached a link for your perusal on Booking.com's stacking logic.

It seems like you've done your investigation and I would suggest to give Booking.com a call to find out the reason. If it's not something you were intending to set up, you can rectify on the spot!
