minimum of square meters for an apartment

I have been informed that the apartment with a single room that I have placed on booking must have a minimum of square meters otherwise I will receive a fine. It's true? in the registration I made was not written anywhere, the apartment with room and bathroom is 18 square meters. Can you help me?

I am not aware of that Casaolivierocarpri.

But some OTA's request at least 40 cm extra beside bed.

I think it is just a safety rule in case people have to run out of there room in case of fire or other emergencies.

You can imagine the not so safe situation when not having the space and having to climb out of bed. Children and teens won't mind but elderly people don't like climbing that much.. :)

And the same is for the height about the bed.

And fresh air coming into the bedroom via a window.

These rules look like logic, but some don't care.

Hygiene, comfort and safety are the most important factors for professionally renting out. Same as fire distinguishers. A must!

I wouldn't feel safe if I didn't have that. And it makes your guests feel at ease that you take there situation seriously.

Enjoy preparing and happy hosting!

Greetings

Hi! Casaolivierocapri and welcome to the forum.

In your Property tab under amenities have you enter your apartment sq. meters? Have you been informed by booking.com.?

If not, why dont you send them a message request through your extranet inbox or just call your local BDC office.

Please give us feedback...
