Re-engagement of Partnership with Booking.com

Hoping someone can assist.

Will Booking.com re-open my listing if things on my side is up to date? I had a bit of a tiff, because some of my guests never stayed by me and then I was charged the commission. So i never paid those fees on commission. And then it got to the point where the closed my listing and now terminated it.

I really don't hate booking.com, the do offer a lot of guests. I just want to forget the whole brawl and move on.

Hi there,

Shame I understand your situation.

Look, the only way you will be able to move forward would be to phone Booking.com Partner help and speak to them about it. You can maybe offer to be on probation with them for a few months? Then you must just ensure that during those few months all is in order with your payments.

There is no easy Button to click to re-enlist. It will have to be a conversation.

Best of luck!

Hi Leandri

Thanks so much for the feedback.

So grovel until they let me back in? Haha man standing your ground can sometimes count against you.

The only problem is, they don't really take phone calls as a security measure from their side. I have to patiently message them on Extranet and wait for their response.

I also read somewhere that they are allowed to charge me a deposit of 3 of my highest bookings and hold onto that till I am in the clear again...

Lets' see how much I can grovel :)

Hi Le-anne,

Big pleasure!

That's correct, they have all sorts of meassures in place to re-enlist people. So I don't think they're against the concept, which makes me hopeful! You can just check your contract, the "rules" will be under the Payments section if I recall.

Haha, grovelling is a skill that all people have so I'm sure you will be just fine!

Keep well.
