SYNC CALENDARS

Dear Booking,

We had a problem in syncing calendar between booking.com and other OTAs. We couldn't find where we can import or export calendar. As you know, if we can't sync calendars, it takes a ong time to block calendar directly. Sometime, we can't control bookings, which make us confuse and waste our time. I must manually block-out dates on my Booking,com calendar, when I receive online reservations through Airbnb, Expedia, FlipKey and TripAdvisor.  I must do the same in the opposite circumstance.

 

I realize it is a small bother to do this; but I learned NEVER trust an automatic calendar syncing system to work flawlessly.

Isle of Wight …

There is a calendar sync, but doesn't show up for some users .....  you have to contact BDC support via your extranet .....

 

Be aware that even if you get calendar sync set up, it doesn't work properly, it's broken .... best is to manually block out when you get bookings ....

I also believe if you have more than one of the same type of room it will auto remove that feature from the calendar view options. I read that in the help section for calendar import setup.

I signed up in booking.com last year (for only 1 apartment) and I used the sync calendar option to sync it with airbnb calendar. The sync seemed to work ok for my first and my second booking. About a week after my second booking Im checking my calendar and all 2019 dates were unavailable (room blocked)!!!!!! I dont know if it’s the airbnb’s or the Booking’s system which created that situation, but by that day I started working calendars manually. After this incident I cant put trust in any platforms sync system.
