changing a room type

Hi team,

When we setup our rooms for our villas we were very new to this and called them suites as it sounded good at the time!

Now we find that we are better to be listed as a villa room type but have tried to change this room type and cant as BDC says that we have reservations attached to these room names so cant do this? We will always some reservations in the future so will never ever get a chance to adjust this.

Any help/ideas on what to do here would be much appreciated
