Guest provides wrong information, Request for Cancellation.

Dear all,

so my guest booked initially that they would be coming with two kids 0 years old, but then in the messages, they say with „kids“ 27 and 16 years old. I asked them to cancel but they havent seen yet I guess. In the meanwhile I initiate a request to cancel their reservation. 


Now im wondering, in case they accept my cancellation request, do I have to pay anything like commission or relocation fees or so on? That would be totally unfair because the guest lied me on his booking entries and now they want to come with more adults, which would also cost more.


Do you have any suggestion for this? I cobtacted also booking on messages and phone, but there I didnt get an answer yet.
