Ad hoc short term lets
Hi all. I'm new to this.
Is it possible to use booking.com to do ad hoc short term lets like for when I go on holiday for a few days. If not anybody know any other possible ideas?

Technically yes, as the availability is controlled by you.
Some might call it a Vacation home others HomeStay, or apartment etc.
Some other OTAs website specifically deal with vacation homes only.
But I wouldn't see a need to do that as you just end up reducing your target audience.
I would simply get registered, setup listing , rooms etc. And straight away block availability on all dates, and then only open the date you know it will be available.
