Bank details

Good morning, i may have posted this previously please accept my apologies if so. Having registered to advertise our property i am having difficulty completing the 'Bank Details' section. There appears to be box's to complete  Iban number and Account holders name, but no where to complete Account number. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Regards Phil.

Hi Phil

If I read that right you are expecting another box for bank account number.

That method is obsolete for many years now.

Kind Regards

Many thanks for your detailed reply. I did suspect that might be the case, however submitted my Iban number in full ( as taken from bank statement) the section still requests an account number and won't allow me to continue.

ah ok that different to what you first said, literally the opposite, so in that case you simply take your account number from the last X numbers of the IBAN.

As the account number may not be the same length as an irish bank I can only advise its usually the last 8 digits, select and copy paste that in.

iBAN Format is : BIC+SORTCODE+Accountnumber

Hi Barry i really appreciate your replies, however in the IBAN required box i have entered my correct IBAN number (22 digits )

In the box below i have entered my name in the Account holders name required box, on clicking on update bank details it is requesting an account number even though i have entered IBAN which includes Bic number, sort code, and account number, do i enter my full IBAN number followed by the account number in the same box ?

Many thanks Phil.

I was saying it sounds like the accont number it asks for you subtract it from the end of the IBAN and simply copy paste it in.

I dont know the name of your bank so i have no way of validating how many digits from the end it is.

See if you can see it on the same statements , or even better look for the sortcode then you wil know the digits after those in the IBAN are in fact the account number.

I'm actually now wondering if it actually is you bank account number it is asking for.

could you screen shot it and simply remove or rub out the IBAN info so we can see what you see on the form.

i'm wondering if its asking for your partner ID number instead

Hi Barry i have tried every possible way to send a screenshot of what is visible when i try to complete the bank details without success, so basically there's a box which asks for Iban number which mine consists of 22 digits ( GBLOYD, plus 14 numbers) the bic number is seperate at isn't included in the iban number this consists of ( LOYDGB followed by one further letter and 4  numerals)  the last 6 digits of the iban number are most definitely my account number.  Our bank is Lloyds.

Baffled. Regards Phil.

ok at this point I would recommend ringing the BdC support line, and or message it to them asking them to add it for you, and or clarify what is needed.

I'm guessing some countries/regions the form is slightly different.

I know not all IBAN are 22.

Hi Phil Higley! Thanks for posting in the Community!

While entering your bank details in the Extranet, there are few things to remember:

- use Google Chrome to login,

- clear browsing history before you open your Extranet,

- do not make any spaces between the numbers/letters while inserting your account number.

Best regards!

@community Admin

Can you clarify exactly what account number is referring to?

As it is already contained within the IBAN ,

Also clear browsing history is utterly pointless and not remotely related.

What you should be saying is Clear Browser Cache with <CTRL>+<F5>

#YouLearnSomethingNewEveryDay :)

Kind Regards

I have tried this but once again without success. It's obviously a glitch on your part.Could you please advise as to what step i can take next please. Also could advise me as to how long it takes to get my advert 'live' it's now been over a week since i registered. I have already explained that confirming property location os nigh impossible as the property will be empty for the forseeable future( corona virus not helping) however i have submitted a recent utility bill for the apartment dated February 2021. Once again could you please advise as i have spent a considerable amount of time setting up the information for our apartment. Regards Phil.

Hello Phil Higley! Thank you for your post! Location verification is an essential procedure that all properties have to follow. Below you will find more explanation on the reasons why:

https://partner.booking.com/en-gb/help/working-booking/why-does-bookingcom-verify-property-locations

With regards to registering your bank details, as there is no general technical issue affecting this section of Extranet at the moment, we would advise you to share a screenshot with us via the tab "Inbox" and then "Booking.com messages".

Best of luck!

So basically you are saying that although all my property information has been uploaded and registered i won't be able to advertise my property because a utility bill for the property dated February 2020 giving full address and post code is not sufficient proof of property location. ? I would jump on a flight over to Cyprus but that's not possible due to onvious reasons.  I think i will have to make a phone call as i have already received teplies stating that in extreme cases they are options available. Regards Phil.Could you very kindly post the reauired telephone number to get this resolved.

the only practical solution is apply for an italian bank account that comes with a smart phone app to manage it.

and setup a post redirection service
