Booking process

Hello , does anyone know if you can set the booking up so it is not instant, ie I can check the booking before it’s confirmed, because I am advertising on other sites and don’t want to double book!

Welcome to the Partner forum.

Sadly, that is Booking.com's main thing, they offer instant bookings to guests and property owners. So no, when they are confirmed by the guest then it is set in stone. You can have cancellation policies etc but sadly those won't help you with double bookings.

If you are listed on more than one site, I suggest getting a Channel Manager. If you search the forum for Channel Manager. You will see a lot of suggestions on good ones to get.

Hi-Winterspanishhouse - in addition to what Leandri suggested I would like to inform you that due to my low budget I don't have a Channel Manager.
I have synchronized my calendars following BDC guidelines and so far it works. BDC informed me though that a double booking can occur if guests happen to make a reservation in the same time.
To avoid this every time I have a booking I double check my calendars.
