Contact with guests and rental agreements
I rent out my holiday home. I opted to take care of payments myself via bank transfers. I do not accept credit cards. My question: I had a first reservation (great!) and sent my simple rental agreement with price and bank transfer details to the guest via the Booking.com email provided. I had no response from the guest, so I phoned him. He replied that he did not get this email. So he gave me his private email and I now sent my agreement directly and all runs smoothly. However, I want to know how a guest DOES receive my email via Booking.com as I do not want to have to phone each prospective guest who has made a reservation to check if he received my email and agreement.
Does anyone have the same experience? Is this a one-off?
