Didn't recieve the letter with the code to confirm my property location

hello!

I listed my property on booking this December and I still haven't recieved my letter with the code to confirm my location. Therefore, I cannot activate the non-refundable option as well as the payment in advance option. 

I think the address is not accurate enough, and that is why I am not recieving the letter. Does anyone know how I can change it?

Hey, i have the same issue here, i've sent the adress details three months ago and i did not receive the comfirmation letter yet, i don't know how i am supposed to work like this !!!

Hello Amanda, Usually, booking want to confirm the address on that way, but I can tell you our experience and maybe it helps. When we register our apartment in Booking we was waiting for the letter with the code, but never came. Thenk Booking contact us and wanted to talk with us through video conference. You can use some program like Whatsapp. They didnt want to use Skype, I dont know why, and then you just talk with some operator and must show the propertie and they want to compare with the picture. After that they actived our accomodation.

If they dont contact you, then you can contact them and try to activate your accomodation on that way. I hope it helps to you.

i have same problem but when I contacted them the staff said Oh it is a mistake just ignore it. until now I still got the message ask me to confirm the address on the intranet.

There are different ways to perform Location verification:

- some properties need to be verified before they go open/bookable

- some properties can go live right away under restrictions and they will be verified after receiving a letter.

 

In both cases, properties have to receive a letter with verification code to the registered  address. It normally takes up to 15 business days to receive a letter. If you did not receive a letter in the mentioned period, please, first verify whether the address of your property is registered correctly. If its incorrect or incomplete, please let us know via the Extranet Inbox. If the address is correct, but you did not receive a letter, please, inform us accordingly so we could resend a letter.

 

It might happen that your property is situated in the area, where location verification via regular mail is not possible. In this case we kindly ask you to contact our Customer Support team.
