Eight little houses in a compound, but each with a separate street address

I have eight little houses all arranged around a common pool.  But each house has a separate street address.  Each house has separate pictures, and there are three different sizes.  How should I set this up?

I don't understand the difference between a "property group" and a "property".

I managed to get one house online:

We have a group account - when we log in to this, we see all the properties listed. When we click on one, it opens that property in a separate window.

When we list a property, it always asks how many rooms of this type to list. As ours are all unique properties, it is always 1. For you, if you have 2 properties that are very similar and the same price, you could use 2 as the number of rooms of that type. Then if others are 3 bedrooms, you put all them in another listing (so 4 properties of that type and price would be 4 rooms)

Try setting up basic listings without all the detail, see how it works for you. By all means post links in here and ask us if it looks right. If it looks bad / awkward or doesn't work well for you, try again - just make sure to keep the bad listings closed and ask BDC to delete them later.

What exactly is a group account for?  Does that allow you to have multiple users or multiple property locations?

A group account allows us to have multiple properties at multiple locations.

BDC was (apparently) set up for hotels etc, so single properties with multiple rooms, and has "recently" moved in to different types of property ... but they (apparently) haven't sorted out their systems properly.

It takes many hours to create full listings with all the settings, photos and pricing, but it only takes minutes to set up multiple "rooms" or "properties" with the bare basics to check layouts / formats etc.

Looking at the system, Property > Property Layout will show your current property listing. There is a large button to create a new listing (at that address) and another big button to create a new listing (at a different address). On the left is your current listing and shows the max occupancy and Number of this type: 1. If you click edit, the top section has an option to change Number of rooms (of this type).

This would give you the options to set up 3 rooms of that type, then add another property of a different type (at that address) and then do the same again. Everything would then be listed under the one listing.

Having just tried this with my own test property, working out the calendar and pricing and how many bookings you have could be a pain .... you'll have to see how well it works for you ....

I list all of my properties on Airbnb, and that's where I get 95% of my income.  So it's crucial that I be able to map apartments 1-1 between BDC and Airbnb and then link them through the iCal calendars.  I can't have the BDC side just be a quantity of "rooms".

Will it work to create a different "room" for each apartment?  Will each "room" have a separate iCal calendar if it has quantity 1?  (And what happens to the iCal calendar if quantity is increased to 2 more more?)
