Guest booked at lower rate than what I have posted.

Hello - I have sent a message to Booking as well, but the guest is pressing for a response on this ASAP so thought I might be able to get help here.  ALERT: I am a booking.com newbie.  

The guest sent me a screen shot of their booking and the total is almost $100 less than it should be.  The amount is showing correct on my end so something got lost in translation.  I checked exchange rates and the Singapore dollar has not fluctuated enough to cause this much of a difference.  

Anyone else experience something like this?

Yes, it is for Christmas. No, I am not using a channel manager yet. So manually putting them in.

I just got off the phone with Tech Support and here is what I learned.

- Because this guest was booking from Singapore and due to laws there the VAT was not included on their side. So the difference in what I am seeing as the total is including the VAT but the guest is seeing a total with no VAT included. The math validates this with a few adjustments for varying exchange rates.

So I will be making some changes in my rates to deal with the varying laws of all the countries on the globe.
