Help needed with listing a property for the first time

Hi.  I am listing a property on Booking.com for the first time and have been struggling to get the system to behave as it should. The company seems to go out of its way to make it impossible to provide telephone assistance, so I hope that someone in this group can help.

I have set my maximum occupancy to 6 adults, yet the guest facing page insists on saying that the property sleeps 2 people. It also indicates the property as "Great for 2 travellers".

The guest facing page also flags "This property has no availability on this site from .... to ...." every time I search for an available date, despite the fact that all dates are open in my calendar.

I have spent hours trying to find what I may have done wrong and am close to giving up now, as this appears likely to be a glitch in the system.  Any assistance would therefore be super welcome.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

That's really useful, thanks. I am currently getting an error message when I click on 'Contact us' but will keep trying and if unsuccessful try my luck with the public lines.
