how can I cancell reservation due to double booked property?

hi, I've just registered my property on booking .com.

My calendars haven't sync yet and an overbooking happened. How can  I cancel one reservation?

You cannot cancel the booking yourself only the guest can do this.  Message them and explain and spend some time looking at other options that you can then suggest to them, so more likely they will cancel.  You can ask booking.com to relocate them but they will charge you.  Be aware that the sync function does not work in real time, so a bit of a delay.
