How do I turn off instant bookings?

Hi John,

 

When you were signing up and in the How Does It Work Videos, you agreed to  automated bookings once you maintain your Availability Calendar.

 

i.e. based on what the Extranet availability Calendar has available, will be booked when the Guest books on the main website.

 

So there is no such thing as turning off instant bookings.

 

TIP: install the pulse app from your phone app store to help see notifications on the go.

 

 


Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

oh if you are new , be careful of the calendar having open status before you are ready to accept bookings.

 

e.g. if you think you need 3 weeks from now, go set that date range to CLOSED immediately.

Oh ok thank you Brooke.Ave yes that's a great idea.

I already got smashed by that one, and now I am getting a lot of one night stands, which doesn't give me enough time to clean the place after each of them.

I am hoping to at least get some notification before the next night gets booked so I can get in and clean the place and set it all up with new linens and shit.

I don't know how to setup my email to tell me when I receive an email and booking.com doesn't message my phone, so I don't even know when my bookings are coming in ... and they're coming in on the day the people want to spend the night!

It's killing me and I just want to take my property off the website for my sanity.

Appreciate you taking the time to answer me as I am a bit lost in this and having problems even finding anything on their website.

I think it's pretty sad that they can't even be stuffed answering our questions but instead they tell us to: ask other people like yourself.

People who get no pay, but yet are doing all of THEIR work.

Things to check if you cant get through to BdC support to review it for you.

 

  • Rate Plan : minimum nights set
  • Calendar : List View : Room Type : expand Rates and review Restrictions : Minimum Nights Stay value

 


You should already be getting some notifications but you can manage that in

Also reccommend installing on your phone , app store ' pulse' app, for push notifications of bookings and messages etc.


 

The reason that direct Partners to Partner Hub is because other that account and finance related topics, partners can generally help you quicker.

 

The crux though can be many do not properly share details nor complete their partner profile with the link to their  listing, so we are going in blind.
