Hello Everyone. I've just registered with Booking.com and I've received a message that I've been sent a six digit unique code but haven't literally received it in my mail. What could possibly be the problem?

Have you given the right e-mail???  Check out your spams, lately I receive mails in spam section instead in my inbox!!! but I think its best if you contact directly booking.com.
