Open & Bookable

Hi can anyone help, I have sent a message off to Booking.com but no response.  We put our property up on their website over the weekend.  On my computer when you go into booking.com it shows our property. However, if I go into the website via my phone or anyone else tries to look at it, it does not appear. Although on the homepage it says our property is Open & Bookable, clearly it is not. Anyone else had the same issue?? Many thanks for your responses.

Hi! Barbarardodds and welcome to the forum.

Was your property verified???

Just update your calendar. Go to Rates - - - > Calendar

You will see the red, green and yellow colors. Use Bulk option on the left to set dates and make them look green.

Also, make sure you use correct Number of rooms. If they set to zero, nothing will work.

If nothing works then call your local BDC office for support rather than waiting a message answer.

Thank you for your reply. I have the dates closed until the 1st April as we are not taking bookings until then. If I open the rooms someone might try to book before we want to take them after the 1st April.

Oh sorry forgot to say even if you put in dates after the 1st April it still does not show up on the website.

Hi, so I have gone in and closed room up until March 31st, then opened room after that date. Look on my computer all looks good and showing what I want it to. Look on my phone at the website and on my husband's laptop on Booking.com still not showing on there. Does it take a little while to sort out?? Thought it was supposed to be instant.

Barbara calendar setting is frustrating sometimes. It should be instant but check it out in a little while. Have you remembered to also put right number of rooms? and don’t forget the save button...

Hi yes it is frustrating, particularly when you just want to get up and running. I have closed the room up until 31 March marked as 0 rooms. Opened the room from the 1st April with 1 room showing. This is all showing up on my computer. Saved all changes. Still not showing up on my phone or hubby's laptop. I will leave it till later and see what happens. I am also still waiting on the verification code to arrive in the post. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, as when you click on the map location it is showing that we are no where near Mirambeau 17150 which the address put into the details.

Barbara your property is not verified yet that’s why you can’t find your property when searching in website. You have to register your verification number through your Extranet inbox and after that it will be live.

Hi Barbarardodds. you do not need the postal verification code to go live. ive been live for 5 days now and dont have the code due to my holiday site being closed at the moment. Not sure why your not live but its not the postal verification code stopping it.

Hi Jim, you are right we are live on Booking.com only problem is they have placed us in wrong area, I have written to them about this. We only found out because we had a booking, which I assume the people will cancel as we are not where they think we are. Hopefully Booking.com will get this sorted out soon and we can start to get bookings for the correct area. They have placed us over an hour north of Mirambeau which is in our address. So fingers crossed

Barbara, if your location is not in the correct area you have to send a message request to booking.com so they can make the alterations. Your location will not change without notifying booking.com.

Hi M Adamopoulou, I have more than once now, I sent our GPS coordinates yesterday so hopefully something will be done soon. In the meantime we are losing out on bookings. I am hoping to hear something positive back very soon. Fingers crossed.

Yes, Barbara fingers crossed and they will fix it. I am sure now that you send your GPS coordinates it will be easy for them to understand where exactly your property is.
