Pissed and frustrated - lack of support and confusing UX

I have listing that's currently also on Airbnb and Trip Advisor. I cannot: 1. Sync calendars (That button simply does not exist under the appropriate tab) 2. Complete KYC (Due to insufficient documentation vs what is requested)

3. Find a *** way to contact the non-existent booking.com support staff, instead of reading through an encyclopedia of docs

To make matters worse, I somehow have 3 bookings over the past few hours which have conflicts with Airbnb reservations, because the calendars won't sync. I have no idea how to manage those. Please someone give me a number to call so I can resolve these issues. I am on the verge of giving up and going with Airbnb + Trip Advisor

  1. Calendar Sync Is only an option when you have one room or a count of one per room type defined. The only other option is to setup a channel manager.  
  2. Channel Manager  When you have two or more OTA channels you need a channel manage to govern each platform. Don't even think about skipping this. You'll thank me later.  
  3. BdC support & Finance Teams  Below is the info for located your region local phone number or message 

 

Note: iCAL sync was never a feasible option to begin with, as by design it is not an instant sync. In my 20 years in IT I can categorically tell you it never was and it never will be.

This is not a BdC issue at all its a design issue or trying to use a feature based on misinformation and misconception as to what it is.

My guestroom rentals are listed on Booking,com, Airbnb, FlipKey, Expedia and TripAdvisor.

 

Do not trust the syncing app for your reservation calendar on each booking website.

 

You MUST manually block the calendar dates on the other booking websites, or risk multiple double-bookings.

All the other platforms, do they have the choice of instant booking or not. 

My channelmaner in NZ found s way to synchronize it all. But it was very complex he said. I have stopped Ch. Man. Lately. 

My platforms are Travel Essence and Air. They are both by request and works perfectly fine !
