regarding my property for rental

my apartment i sign up with booking.com 3 days ago . why showing is sold out on website . and why i send message no one answer me ? i request send me email for booking first because is renting from other website too i don't want double booking happen .today i saw is showing sold out .. why ?

Hi Sarah ,

 

Welcome to the mad house, and  a couple of important things to note:

 

  1. You are only addressing Partners here and a rare appearance of the Community advisors.   
  2. Partner Support team and Finance teams will never see content or posts here.  
  3. Try to share you questions in as much detail, succinct and concise and people like me who volunteer, can advise on Hot To guides, or where to go for next step.. etc.  
  4. when you initially sign up , you can be booked as soon as you define a Room Type, a Rate plan and link them and then set inventory count, and open close rate plan for date range etc.  
  5. The Calendar in List view is the best way to see and expand a Room Type and then the rate plan under it, to see what values per day of the week , per Date , restrictions are enabled etc.  
  6. A common mistake by new partners is being wide open for availability but not ready to take bookings, so make sure to close rooms if you need a few weeks to finish preparations.  
  7. By default you should get notifications to your Extranet account and a email to say you have a booking and any other notification.   
  8. memorise admin.booking.com as the extranet address to manage it all.  
  9. while I do recommend the phone app - pulse for notifications and 2FA security, and calendar at a glance etc, and quick messaging to from guests. This app is still very limited in comparison to the full web based extranet.  
  10. Its important when starting out to learn to use the full extranet in a browser while on a PC, you'll thanks me for it later, instead of pulling hair out.  
  11.  Listing on more than one website , channel , OTA... warning: the calendar sync is not in real time nor on new booking. This will cause overbooking , double bookings. The workaround is to employ a 3rd party service known as a Channel manager, it will be the master golden copy and control each OTA calendar.  
  12. examples of free and cheap monthly subscription plan CM providers are syncbnb, cloudbeds, beds24, nobeds, etc.  
  13.  A quick google search for ' channel manager booking.com' should get you others. There is a section under the Account menu on top right of Extranet, where you can see connectivity  to see some of those partnered or known to work and their limitations. https://admin.booking.com/hotel/hoteladmin/extranet_ng/manage/channel-m…  
  14. Up top of this and every page is Partner Help  & Solutions, very important to read through them all especially the : Your First Steps.  
  15. there are no stupid questions, just post a new topic and ask ,even list them all but in detail as much as possible to avoid ambiguity.   16. below in my signature area at bottom is a summary of the quickest way to make contact to Partner Support . Tip: send a message first picking the topic and subtopic , then follow up after or later with a phone call. Sending a message creates a support case.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
