If the button "Add bank details" doesn't work, it can happen if your property contact details were recently updated. You will need to wait 24h for the button to be active again.
If that is not the case, please tell us more details on what exactly doesn't work and which error message you are getting.
Hi and thanks for your time, OK I have just started on Booking.com and got on fairly well until I try to add my band details.
I am in Thailand, the 'add new banking details' comes up and I have all my details and when I add my account number and name of account holder then click add details, a semi window says add your 3 digit branch code and 4 digit area code but does not allow anywhere to add these codes, I have tried putting them after account number and before acc number but does not work, I as yet have not received my confirm address letter from Booking.com and not had a booing yet - the first arrives tomorrow.
Usually branch and area codes are added before the account number (for example here in The Netherlands we would have something like AA11-BBB-111111111, try not to use spacing between digits). You can see these details in your online banking or contact your bank for more details.

Can you instead be succinct and concise as to what is not working when you try. As that vague statement doesn't help.
The fields on the form you fill in do validation as with most online forms.
For example
Dont try to add whitespaces into the IBAN. Unless it tells you to dont , and make such no trailing white spaces either.
At the end of the day it's going to be user error.

the transit number and institution number are not adding
it keeps saying

because of that my property are closed on booking.com

I'm from South Africa, I'm having the same problem. Only on the bookings.com platform
