Advertising a campsite
Hi partners,
Maybe I'm daft, but for the life of me I can't figure this out!...
We have a campsite that we'd like to advertise, but I don't see "campsite" as a room type, even though Booking clearly advertises campsites specifically (like here: https://www.booking.com/campings/country/za.en-gb.html), and some establishments are able to show "camping - Bring own tent".
What's the trick?...
I've searched for this topic but haven't found anything. I'm new and I guess I'm missing something but I don't what.
Thanks a lot!
Balthazar
Hi
I just had a look and in Property > Room Details (or Room layout)
click Add Room, choose tent

It's been a while, but thanks for the advice @BrookeAve
That's what I did, but what happens is that several guests have expected an already set up tent with bedding provided (like a glamping tent -- which we also have, BTW).
It took me a while to realise that my listing's name ("Camping spot - Bring your own tent/mat/sleeping bag" -- just trying to be clear! ;-) actually doesn't show on the other side. Instead people just see "Tent".
The only other possible option I see is "Empty spot", but (just like with the tent) I'm still forced to choose a bed type, presumably misleading people to think that I'm providing a bed somehow.
And anyway, I've tried to change it just to see but somehow it still shows "Tent" on the other side...
Ok so now HOW are some establishments able to advertise campsites??
Like this one: https://www.booking.com/hotel/za/sabie-river-camp-sabie.en-gb.html?labe…
Thanks!
