Hello, we are new on booking.com. We have a rental, signed on 14/05, that started Saturday 17/05/2020. The tenants are from Cyprus, and we canceled the rental to them because of Corona in Belgium. How can we cancel this stay against booking.com? If it is not indicated 48 hours in advance, the rental will continue. We have promised the tenants that they will get the full sum back. Can anyone help us with this? Thanks. Lieven

Hi Lieven Decramer  

As it is now past the original reservation check-in date, you can simply copy paste the  booking number then.


Then use the Inbox menu, Booking Messages, on right pane , click on See Contact Options  

  • Topic : Reservations  
  • Sub Topic: Cancellations  
  • Click on bottom 'Contact Us' to open message window.  
  • Paste in the booking number from earlier, and type in the instructions for the booking to be marked cancelled and issue refund.

The assumption here is that you are using Payments By BdC, and then can then issue the refund back to the Guest.
