Booking partner ask Social Security Number for verification, Is it normal?
Is it normal that booking partner asked for SSN for verification. I was asked SSN and i provided it and then they suspended my account.
I talked to some customer representative and they told me the booking partner dont usually ask for SSN for verification.

It maybe an alternative for the region /country you are in, as postal method is not suitable for 100% of new partners.
Since you have not stated where you are based would you mind doing so so we know which country this applies to.
Also did this request come via an email or a phone call? If it was from offical Booking.com email they usually have a nice template and email address ends in @booking.com, so you can verify it is not spam.
