I do not live in Dominican Republic,I live inUS.So,there is no use of mailing a code there-I will never receive it.Plus, there is no post service in Dominican Republic, only UPS or FEDEX.What has to be done about it?
I am sorry but I do not quiet understand your situation. Why Booking.com will send post to you anyway?
looks like that -- and of dumb--no?
It was written in e-mail from Booking.com.They told me that for some kind of verification of my property they will mail me some code and I will receive it at 31 of October
Hi, I have the same problem with a property in Montecristi, DR.
I never experience about this. May be you better to call Booking.com
How do I call them?
same problem in Panama-- I told them ten timesthere is no postal service in Panama --they said the Panama people would call me to verify property -- no one called.
they don't understand that countries don't have postal services-- just dumb.
how can they expand in to third world country when they don't have competent people who follow up and when people who work for them in Europe don't know about the third world and their lack of services.
And they don't have any way to receive a message to tell them about how inadaquate their system is for the third world
Dear Alain Misson! Thanks for posting in the Community!
Here at Booking.com we are dedicated to being a safe platform for both customers and partners, so we need to confirm the location of the accommodations.
For the countries that do not have a postal service we provide alternative verification methods. If you contact our Customer Service department, they will reach out to the relevant team.
Please, note there is a waiting time for a verification.
If you would like to share your feedback, there are few ways you can do so:
- send an email to customer.service@booking.com
