Confirm location
Hi, I would really appreciate some help please on how to 'confirm location' once the letter with the Unique code has been received.
I signed up with booking.com on 4th July, and have received my letter asking to input my unique code into the box marked 'Confirm my location' on my extranet homepage.
The box isn't there, and I've sent a number of messages through booking.com, but can't seem to progress any further.
Apparently this is the last stage of the registration process. Can anyone please help me so that I can make my property go live?

Can you please let me know where "in the Home Page, there is a field for you to insert the PIN code." I've read the article (but that seems to be more relevant to what to do if you haven't received a letter, but I have). I cannot find the field you refer to, and am told by the messaging centre that there are still checks to be done at their end. Could you please help?
Hi there, I believe I am aware what to do, as I have received a letter giving me a unique code to input when you have done the checks. I registered on the 4th July and still have no idea when Booking.com will finish the checks so I can confirm location. I get polite replies posting how I am to confirm and requesting I be patient. Very frustrating and seemingly pointless.
If there is another process blocking it then yes wait.
But if you click on the status box on homepage does it trigger a new box to appear for the code?
Thanks for responding. When I go to my extranet home page, my screen has the following options across the toolbar:
Home/ Calendar & pricing/ Reservations/ Inbox/ Finance
In the top right-hand corner, I have 3 options,after the search icon:
Name of my property/ Help/ Account
I can't find a status box? Are you able to help at all please? Thank you
Again, I thank you for replying. The screen i described above is literally the first screen I see when I log in.
This is the process I take to login:
admin.booking.com login
I enter my email address and password, then see the screen I have described above.
I can't see a status box or closed/not bookable/ other; I also was unsuccesssful with the search function. Is there another way in that shows the status box you describe please? Thanks very much for trying to help.

So there is nothing more I can do? I have received a postal letter from booking.com with a unique code that I am supposed to enter, but no means to do it until they finish their bit?. How long does this process go on for, I started on 4th July and seem no further forward. Seriously considering trying say Airbnb as I have no idea when my property may go live, but I had thought booking.com seemed a better fit for me! Any thoughts please regarding how long the registering process may take or any experience with other booking platforms? Thanks again.

Hi! I have the exact same problem and don't understand where in the page can I find the box or where should I enter the received code (got it by postal mail, same as you did). How did you solve the prbolem in the end?

It was purely and simply that BDC had not finished their location checks.
It took from 4th July to 18th August for them to process my registration. There was nothing I could do. I had assumed that when I received the letter with my one-time security code to confirm my location, that this was the final part of the process. I thought my unfamiliarity with the booking website meant I couldn't find the relevant input field. This was not the case. BDC had to complete their administration processes which then generated the relevant input field.
Hopefully this will help any other new hosts who find themselves in a similar position. If I were to advise anyone considering setting up on BDC, I would suggest registering at the very early stage of the process, even with very basic information, just to get the registration process started. Further details and photos can be added , as required. I missed a significant holiday time thinking it would only take a couple of weeks, but in my case it took nearly 7 weeks. My account was activated within an hour or so of my last thread on this forum. I wonder how long it would have taken if I hadn't kept posting on this forum, as it is clearly reviewed by personnel from BDC.
