Getting started! Payments and Policies in particular
Does anyone have a contact number within booking.com so I can be guided as how to fully understand the payments/deposits/policies etc?
I am new to the site and have loaded 4 of my properties in the same building. They are attracting quite a bit of interest but here are a list of things i don't understand! I would appreciate some guidance.
1. I initially set the properties up with a cancel the day before and pay on arrival option. I have changed it so I require a deposit and the balance earlier. However all my guests say they don't pay me but pay booking.com. Is this correct?
2. Also the guests credit card details are not available to me, should they be?
3. I also received a confirmation code to verify my location. However by the time i received it, it had expired. How do i get another code?
That's it for now, a phone number would be helpful. The one on Google doesn't work!!

If you have set up to use Payments by Booking.com (which is the only way I would recommend), guests will make their payments to Booking.com - payouts will be made to you sometime later - see the finance tab in your Extranet
And if you have set up Payments by Booking.com, you won't see (and won't need to see) card details
Make sure you set all bookings to be non-refundable by ticking the box when you set the pricing on the calendar
