How to add a listing ?

Hello there, i am new to booking.com and i want to add a new listing. I am not the owner. I am the partner and i will be in charge of managing the listing. How does it work : shall the owner first create the listing and then add me as the partner? any guidance here will be highly appreciated. TKS!

Hello! To help a new partner on Booking.com who wants to create a new accommodation listing, first, they need to check if they have the right user permissions. The option to "Create a new accommodation" should appear on the right side of the extranet dashboard. If it's not visible, they may need to request the property owner to grant them viewing access to the account. Once granted, they should be able to see the option and proceed to create new listings.

If there are any doubts or if I can be of further assistance, feel free to reach out. Best regards, Ismar.

Thank you Ismar for your reply. So the property owner must first add the listing on th platform and grant me access to the account. Correct?

Hello Isabelle! You have several options. If you're the one managing the property, you can create the listing yourself using your email. Afterward, you can grant the property owner viewing access to the account, allowing them to see the listing while you manage it seamlessly. This is the best option if you're the person responsible for management.

Alternatively, the property owner can create a basic listing and then provide you with viewing access under the account settings. However, I recommend, as I do in managing other owners' properties, that you create the listing with all the accommodation details first. Subsequently, in the account settings, grant viewing access to the property owner using their email.

If you need assistance during this process, feel free to ask. I'll be happy to help. Best regards, Ismar.
