Please elaborate on your question. If you say instant bookings, do you mean Instant time - eg. bookings with a check in that falls within one or two days? Or do you mean the booking is instantly confirmed?

Can someone explain how i can turn Instant booking (Instantly Confirmed) which i didn't realise i had, I would prefer to have the option to review the customer request before hand, primarily incase other calendars from other sites haven't exported correctly
Different from Airbnb when the guest books a stay with you and you have to reply and accept, Booking does the reservation right away and there is no time for you to accept it or not. It could be a good feature if you have your space only for guests, however, if you have to make some arrangements before hand it is very fast. Might not work for all.
Hi Mandy It appears that this is a set function and therefore booking only works with instant confirmation. Therefore you cannot have a grace period before you review and reply to your customers. If your calendar is free and they book it’s a confirmed booking
Unfortunately you cannot disable this feature. Booking.com's whole niche is Guaranteed bookings. So if you don't want a booking to be confirmed then you should make sure it is not listed on Booking.com. It's admin and effort from your side but it's worth it at the end.
I had the same. Synchronization didn't work. I even didn't get a message about booking - another fault (I don't have it spam too).

has booking resolved the thrust of these requests in that certain types of bookings are not suited to instant booking as in our case outback Austarlia
