I am new and i receives new booking almost every day!
I just registered my property last month and almost every day i receives new booking i am so happy! I even have a booking for next year ;D

Same in here. Im fully packed, but I have 3 small apartments right in Helsinki city center, so it's very good to compete with the hotels, because in city centers they cost a fortune. But this month I am going to take few new apartments, but pretty much far from city center. It would be a good choice for middle term stay (like few weeks)...and in this case I am really interested in increasing the booking rate for them... so, follow the topic.
Be sure that they not be fake one
I have only started with 3 rooms and my location is in the middle of the capital city Kuala Lumpur where there is alot of tourist hot spots and public transportions and mostly can reach by walking distance. My first booking was end of last month they booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 3 nights. I choose to accept payment only by cash and i think the reasons why i can get often bookings is because of the location,easy booking and not too high and not too low price hehee
Hi. When I first booked my place I also received lots of booking but if you accept cash and the travelers do not pay with a credit card not all bookings are real. Some never show up and you have the dates reserved for nothing. Has this happened to you?
Also, at first booking puts you high in the rank for some time and then you go lower.
That is my experience.

Congrats Congrats! Keep up the good work, you're obviously on a good path. Booking.com is really a great way to get bookings.
The location of the property sometimes has a very strong impact on whether on not the guests will book or not. I would suggest making use of all the opertunities that Booking.com suggest under the Oppertunies tab as they are experienced in what works and what does not work.
