Listing went live before I was ready

Hi,

I'm new to Booking.com and recently created a listing for a property I manage. I have it listed on other website and have already taken a few bookings. I unknowingly put the listing live before it was ready (I hadn't updated any availability or even added any photos), but have received a couple of bookings.

This is a mistake and I've contacted the guests to explain the situation and requested that they cancel, but is their any official Booking.com channels for this that I can request cancellation? Any advice would be awesome!

Nothing works. I had not even my Pin number set to activate my account and I already received a booking for the next day. I was not ready to receive guests but I made it possible, arranged with the guest that he would shorten his stay by six days, and I would pay back his expenses for the six days. Now the guest wants his money immediately and threatens me verbally, while I just ask booking-com to confirm that they have received the full amount for the rent due. Has the guest's credit card been refused and I wont get paid and I even reimburse him for the days not booked? I do not have any other explanation for these mafia-like threats.

Why can't booking com confirm that the rent has been paid and I will get it (very much) later???

Hi George,

I had this problem.I  have 3 bookings back to back coming up. I had my first arrived last week, the room wasn't ready but excepted him in as he drove from Hove to get here., I did my utmost to make him feel welcome.My advice is to block your calendar until you are ready .
