location verification

Waited 2 weeks for my code its finally arrived but doesnt work. My location and distances that Booking have said we are from main areas is completley wrong and is losing us business. whatsthe quickest way to sort this issue as im losing patience with it all

I have sent messages still waiting to get this sorted 🤷🏼‍♀️ And I thought Airbnb s customer support was bad, this is a whole new level!!

I understand this is taking long. I'm sorry!

 

In the meantime, if I may share my humble input, checking and (if necessary) changing your property's position on the map might help to solve the second issue you mentioned. 

 

Here’s how to update your property’s current map location:

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Inbox and then click on Booking.com messages
  3. Click on See contact options
  4. Choose Property details as the topic and Adjust your location on the map as the subtopic
  5. Click on Next
  6. Drag the red pin to move it to where you want your property to show up on the map
  7. Click on Save new location and then click on Done

I have done that and if you actually look at the map it’s correct but Bookings write up is incorrect it says we are 20 km from the airport and we are 42!! It also says we are in Las Palmas which is the capital city and we’re over 20 kms away in the mountains 🤷🏼‍♀️ This has to be affecting our bookings!

Thanks for asking this!

 

The below are the steps you could follow to request to correct your property description.

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on the Property tab and then click on View your descriptions
  3. For changes to your property description, click on Found a typo? Request a fix and describe the fix you need in the text field that appears below
  4. For changes to your room description(s), click on the Request a correction link below the room you’d like to update, then describe the fix you need in the text field that appears below
  5. When you’re ready, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Request a fix

Your request will go to our Content team, who will then make the changes to your property description.

Dealing with muppets!!! I’ve told them the problem I’ve told them my pin is in the correct place and I’ve told them all the neighboring b&bs are down as San Mateo and ours says Las Palmas but nobody’s listening!!
