Max group size for hostel
Hi Folks,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a way to limit the maximum size of a booking for a hostel on booking.com.
We run a small hostel (12 guests max) and normally don't allow groups of 6 or more. We don't want one group to dominate the hostel and it seems larger groups (read stags and hens!) are much more likely to be rowdy and do damage.
On our website we ask such groups to contact us first (for vetting) but this does not seem to be an option here. Any ideas?

Not really sure how a hostel listing works, I'm hotel style. However, I'm guessing you list number of beds available?
If that's the case you could limit your listing to 6 beds and then add more as these fill.
Cian wow this is something i am also having a problem with on Booking.com! Nice to see i am not the only one. Did you ever find an answer to this??????

I am having the exact same issue. Hostel owner here and I do not want a huge group overwhelming my small hostel. Specifically, is there a way to limit the number of guests that can book under any one reservation? I have a single reservation that includes 18 guests.... but only one name listed on this reservation.
