payment for no show?
Initially I didn't get booking.com to take my payments ( although I thought I had...it was confusing) and had no prepayment policy in place. I have since changed this but some bookings came in before I did so. If I have a no show where no prepayment has been taken but I did state that the guest would be charged full rate, how can I get that money?

Sadly it's your own responsibility to find a way to get that money from the guest if that's the policy they booked on. (Eg. Before you had the Booking.com collecting payments thing). You will need to contact the guests and ask them for the payment, and you will probably struggle as people won't like paying for something they didn't use.
Luckily you now have the new payment thing with Booking.com so hopefully that won't be your problem for much longer!
