Hello Leandri :

Good afternoon, I currently reside in Ecuador and I have my two vacation apartments published on Booking.com, but I have not yet found the way to charge the virtual cards.
Could you indicate me a mechanism that is effective? Do you know any chnnel manager that provides the virtual card collection service?
Thank you very much .

Hey Okeycuba!

Sorry for the late reply.

You will need to be registered as a business to have what they call a cardless POS terminal. Then you can use the Virtual card details and process the payment.

As I'm in South-Africa, I unfortunately won't be able to give more guidance than that. So sorry!

We don't use a channel manager, we do everything manually with all our properties. Wish I could be of more help! Hmm, let me see if I can tag someone who might be able to assist: Veronika Group

Dear Okeycuba,

Looks like Leandri forgot about me :)

So there are solutions, I also provide them as a package under my brand, Thuild.

You do not need to have a company to have all the benefits of big hotels (payment systems, channel distributions, channel management, etc.).

So if you don't have a company and you wish to be top class, contact me about it: info.thuild@gmail.com

On another note, you can go for a payment gateway if you're a company but bare in mind that it will take time to have all benefits from it (bunch of verification and good behavior analysis). You would be able to do certain transactions, but mostly you will be affected by the daily limits imposed.

Physical POS can be a good thing if your bank has very advanced ones, however in the era of internet, you need a variety of options to provide for your guests.

Virtual cards can be processed easily over MO/TO payment method.

Best of luck,

Zsolt - www.thuild.com
