reservation not fullfilled
hello on the 5th of march i received a reservation *** by the name of *** *** for 7 nights starting today 8 th of March.
As soon as i received it i closed all the dates on my calendar ( so no one else could book my place in those dates including airbnb)
i contacted the guest via email several times but i didnt receive any fallow up...
this is my first experience with Booking.com and would like to know if the client cancelled the reservation and if so why i didnt receive any notice ??
please can u explain?
what should i do in the future if i will receive another booking from booking.com? shall i take it for true??

So due to the nature of this and being time sensitive, asap phone BdC Partner support as per below please.
Note:1: If a guest cancels via the website or by customer service, you will get a notification and you can also view the reservation on extranet to see its status change t o cancelled.
Note:2: if you only message a guest to cancel and no reply, and the reservation still shows as active, the reservation will never get cancelled.
Reminder you cannot do either of those two actions requests or any action request on here.
