Hello,

I just joined booking.com and also listed my studio on airbnb

I tried to sync both calenders using the instructions

both platforms indicate that import & export are OK, but it does not work

just had my first reservation on booking.com (whoop whoop), but it did nog update in airbnb...

someone know what to do?

greetings

Eva

It isn't an instant sync, just seems to run every few hours.  So check again.

Hi Eva and welcome to the Partner Community.

Sync as Sharon stated above is not in real time so in order to avoid double bookings...it's better if you manually sync your calendar after each reservation....

Wish you a great start.

thank you for the feedback! I think that indeed manually sync will be best then...

nope manual sync wont stop over /double bookings.

Even if you install the smart phone apps for each OTA , you need to be awake, and see the notification of a new booking and then quickly block out on the other OTA.

While that might work 80% of the time you will eventually get a double booking and have to ask them to cancel or change dates, or worse they get relocated and you get an invoice to pay for their new host differential.

Google or look up Channel Managers, as the only safe way to use 2 or more OTAs.
