Tomorrow I have my first guest

I’ve got the notification that I have my first booking. Guest had sent me a message, I have welcomed him and that’s it. Tomorrow he is arriving. I will wait for him in the apartment. When he will be next to my house how can he call me to know the door code and all instructions if he has no my phone number? Should I send him the message with my phone number and the door code?

You should definitely send him another message with everything he needs to know if you are not going to be there in person to welcome him.

Hi, everyone. I had booked from the 15th. Mai, and still have. I have to say, visitors are confused, how to react, even I write on Extranet, some arrive with the mask, and very know how to do in the new situations.

Big extra work to disinfect the room and even the whole house where visitors can go. (We say: It's not a hotel, it's your home so long you visit us) and I want to keep it this way, but lots of work, and not the same kind of contact with people ass before.

New guidelines in Kitchen, serve dinner, -not possible to keep the distance when to serve, -

and a little fighting if we get a problem...

I do charge 4€ extra PR. night for extra cleaning.

Before I wash bedding, and Tawel on 40 degrees, now it needs a minimum 70 degree, and longer time before ready.

I really don't know if I enjoy this ass before the virus problem. But the visitors are all local, no booking from other countries yet.

Can anybody explain how you are doing, do you still enjoy??

Hi from Lucy..

Hi Lucy,

Actually I was thinking of you...wondering how you manage with this new way of hosting...

I agree with you...hosting doesn’t seem to be fun anymore with all these restrictions...

I have no reservations but I don’t really mind because as you said it  is too much of work and no fun...

Our everyday lives have changed so much...I don’t even enjoy going to Supermarket...

Weather is fabulous here in Greece but with cafes and beach bars closed we cannot enjoy the sun and the sea as before...people are acting peculiar!!!

Lucy, I think most of us have the same feelings as you have...we just have to go slowly and be careful ...we have to get used to our new way of hosting...and learn to enjoy it...

What do you think about paying extra money is ok, we charge a little extra these days. Your comment is very welcome, how much is ok? Or is it ok? Lucy
