Tourism tax

Hi,

Kindly explain how and where I can set the tourism tax (Kurtaxe) of EUR 2,8 per person over 18 years/ per day.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I found this under "additional fees" however there I can set only a fixed price. 

What I need is to have the possibility to set a price per person/ day. Means if we have two adults staying for seven night they have to pay 2 Pers. x EUR 2,80 x 7 days.

If we have in the same property 4 adults staying for X days the price is different.

Have you a advice to cover that request?

You cannot do that , it have to be fixed per stay not length of stay.

so just add it as a fixed flat rate amount per booking , say 20.

or you put it into the fine print and collect it on arrival in cash./card

I have to say thats a disgusting tax. totally not practical and utterly pointless,

where are you based?

Thanks, Iam based in Germany. It is common in this way as a landlord to collect the tax and pay it to the municipality...unfortunately. I am new here at Bookingcom, so I have to spend some time/works (profil, settings...) before earning money in the right way by Bookingcom :)...

you could try asking BdC if they can add it to the default list where your vat rate is set and if they can then at checkout the rate is multiplied as needed.
