Why Booking does not show hotels around a certain city when searched by the city name?

Hello, I am new here. My hostel is in Malakoff, which is a small city next to Paris. We live just outside Paris, 30 minutes to the centre of Paris by metro. Before I planned to open my hostel, I tried on Booking and I saw that cities around Paris could pop up when I put in "Paris" as the keyword, it is the same case when I travelled around before. But now after I put online my hostel, I found out that it can not be shown at all when I search "Paris" and all the hostels and hostels popped were actually inside the city of Paris. So did or does anyone else have the same problem? What should I do in this case? Is there any way to talk to Booking staff? There is no help at all for a starter like me... Nobody will search "Malakoff" when they look for places to stay in or around Paris. I am doomed if no one books my beds... Someone please help me, I thank you for your kindness so much in advance!!!
