Why does my property say sold out when I don't have any bookings yet?
Hi,
I signed up to bookings.com recently. When I switch to travel, I couldnt even find my ad, then after few updates, I was finally able to see my property ad.
i tried bookings dates for November and it shows that the property was "SOLD OUT". I dont even have any bookings yet from Nov 1 to 30. Please advise

Maybe you have restrictions. For example I have minimum 2 nights stay so when I search for one night my property doesn’t appear at all because it’s not available. I don’t like it but that’s how the system works!!!!
Just update your calendar. Go to Rates - - - > Calendar
You will see the red, green and yellow colors. Use Bulk option on the left to set dates and make them look green.
Also, make sure you use correct Number of rooms. If they set to zero, nothing will work.
On top of this, do you use any Channel manager? If dates are blocked on other site (Airbnb, TripAdvisor, etc) by your channel manager, they will be blocked on Booking.

If you have restriction such as 2 nights minimum, your property should appear in search. Normally Booking shows your property, says those dates not available and offers other dates.
Can you clarify? Not showing your property completely? For example, I enter your city and dates (1 night despite your restriction), and do not even see your property?
Or I see your property, but can't book for 1 night?
It's a big difference. Because seeing your property serves you as an advertisement. If I can't come on Friday abd originally searched for it, and opa! Saw your beautiful property... Fell in love with it :) then I might just adjust my dates and still come, right?
Hi, I've just listed my property and I do not have any bookings but every date I select it says SOLD OUT. How do I fix this?
I do not see the red, green and yellow colors. If I click on a day it only says OPEN, but there are no colours...

Hello, yes I finally managed to get it to show two people instead of 1. The setttings are a bit confusing. On one page you set 2 people but you also have to do this on another page. It should be easier if the section where you have to set the price per person is above the Calendar.
I experienced it too. The date which I blocked previously, still show sold-out though I reopen the date. I think maybe it is because of the policy of booking.com that will remain block the date as a "punishment" or penalty to the host.
Did you manage to find the solution for this issue? We are experiencing similar problem, for some reason the problem is only present when booking via mobile application (both iOS and Android)
I figured that booking .com app really sucks .
