Would like cancel a booking made for two weeks over Xmas break.

Hi team. This is our first attempt at Air B&B accommodation and we listed the home for bookings at one low introductory rate assuming we would get some quick bookings and good reviews to work as a start with but what has happened is one clued up customer went months into the future and booked the whole Xmas holiday period which we had not made holiday rate adjustments to our calendar yet. Obviously was not the intention is not fair to us and there was also no deposit no cleaning fee etc. Your advice is very welcome!
Best regards Chris and Cheryle.

Hello and welcome to the booking.com (not airbnb) Partner Community forum where property  owners/administrators easily connect with fellow Booking.com partners for the best tips and advice. This is not the BDC customer support helpline and BDC are only here to police/ administer the forum!

As regards your issue you are not going to find the answer here and you need to contact BDC support via the entranet/inbox or the dedicated contact number for partner support.

TBH not sure there is a solution and you will probably need to honour the booking otherwise pay the penalty!

Good morning Cheryle,

Thank you for your message. We want to make sure we give you the right support for your situation.

Please contact our support teams directly by sending us a message via your Inbox tab of the extranet (under Inbox > Booking.com messages. If there is no "compose new message" directly there then click on See Contact Options > select a relevant topic eg. Account > select a relevant subtopic eg. Other > then click see all contact options > Message > write your message)  or tap More on the Pulse app

We’ll do our best to get back to you within 24 hours, but sometimes it might take us a little longer. You can help us answer your question more quickly by choosing the right topic and subtopic for your message.

You can also call us. To find a dedicated phone number to call, log in to the extranet, click on Inbox and then click on Booking.com messages

Booking.com has also published a list of publicly available support numbers per country on the page I have linked here, so if for any reason you can't access the extranet or don't have access to the Inbox tab, you will find a list of public support number numbers by following the above link to the Partner Hub.

All the Best,
