Anyone else get “spam” bookings?

Since A while I get bookings from Countries that can’t even travel here. Especially since our borders are still closed due to covid. These people book a week and don’t cancel when I ask them to. They block the spot for proper bookings and I have to report them a sno show to hopefully not pay commission. Anyone else has that? What to do?

yes but usually we reccommend solution is to either enable prepaid only, and or deposit.

 

then when neither are done by time limit set in your new reservation template, you can go ahead and click Request Cancel, then option 1 to start the process.

 


If needed, Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.

 

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport ***

 

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Thank you for this. Unfortunately I am located in T&T and would have to call the US for big dollars. I do have problems connecting with actual people from the platform if problems arise. That is the one thing I would always rate bad if asked. 
also a problem is that the Trinidad guests that I live of right  now with the borders closed don’t like to book deposited or pre paid properties.... it is a pickle. I wonder what those spam bookers attempt to do with their fake booking. Makes no sense to me....
