Can`t receive the confirmation letter

Hi I have listed my apartment in Bulgaria on Booking.com we have problems with received the confirmation letter. I have received a call from Booking.com to say they can confirm it if they dial on my WhatSApp and I can show them a video of the apartment. I said ok.  They have called me twice the next day but I was working and couldn`t pick it up. When  I called back on number in Italy it nobody picks it up!

Now my listing is stalling and I can`t find how to reach them. What shall I do?

Hi there!

Okay so firstly you need to set a time with Booking.com and make sure you can answer the phone then. They are going out of their way to do the verification of your property that way so when you set up the next call, make sure you have the time.

Secondly, keep in mind it's probably One person who needs to verify a lot of properties in one day. So they won't be in their office.

My suggestion -> Send them a message via your extranet (Inbox->Booking.com messages) saying sorry that you missed their call and would like to reschedule. You would appreciate if they could phone you <insert date and time you will be available> and see what they say.

Hi there

I have the same problem. I actually managed to arrange for someone to WhatsApp and show the property. When I sent the details to the agent who contacted me, I received an out of office reply. On the reply is an email address which I used to send my request. This came back stating that the email is no longer in use.

I have tried everything to find contact details for booking.com however it is only a run-around.

I also did as you suggested above, and went to the extranet (inbox). How do you send a message if it only allows for "all mesages" , sent messages and starred messages.

I am tired of struggling with the company. I am listed with 4 other places and it is very easy to verify that the photos I sent is the same as the ones advertised on the other sites. My neighbour is one of your clients. He actually has a photo of my house, taken from his lawn. I do not live near my property and we don't have a post man who delivers mail. We don't even have street addresses. I understand that you need to protect your clients, but so am I!

Please can someone contact me, as I arranged for my aunt to be at the house tomorrow, 4 Septermber at 10:00 to receive the WhatsApp call.

Hi Colette Murtz,

I get your frustration 100%, I still think it's worth suffering through it.

To send a message straight to them you just go to Booking.com messages and on the right hand side of the page there will be a block that says Compose Message.

Be warned though, the first reply you will get will say that they have forwarded it to a specialist. So don't despair right there and then, just sit back and wait. They do want out properties listed. If you are listed on 4 other places, your verification process should go fast.
